Shipping Information for Private Clients
We are able to ship via your nominated company or are able to offer very competitive rates via our associated companies anywhere in the world.
We can also offer air freight, although such is obviously more expensive. We are also able to offer a courier service for urgently requited items from a larger order if so needed. This is charged on weight.
Our sea services are both LCL (less than container load) and FCL (full container load) although the latter has clear cost and time advantages, avoiding the likely requirement to wait for consolidation in the port, and potential damage. These are charged sby volume (with some weight limitations, albeit very high and dependent on which shipping line you use).
We will provide shipping quotes, including packing (which we will oversee), fumigation to the requirements of the destination, paperwork and export permits.
Port costs at destination are paid by the consignee, but we are able to put you in touch with reputable agents around the world.
For large orders we are usually able to negotiate FOB rates…which essentially means that the supplier covers all costs until the goods pass onto the ship. These are not guaranteed and are negotiated on a supplier by supplier and an order by order basis but are when you buy a single container from one supplier are the norm. This can save you substantial amounts.
